Dr Xingchen Ji

Dr. Xingchen Ji

  • Associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Electronic Information, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research direction is ultra-low loss integrated photonic chips, and his expertise is in silicon nitride process development and optical frequency comb chip development. He is responsible for the construction and development of pilot lines.
  • He won the first “Overseas Excellent Youth” of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Youth Leading Talent (Overseas), and the “20th Anniversary Special Challenge Award” of the Optical Society of America Foundation (only 10 in the world). He serves as a special reviewer for dozens of internationally renowned journals such as Nature Photonics, and a member of the IEEE Photonics Conference Committee.
